You guys! I don’t know how I get so lucky. I swear I have been blessed with the BEST clients over and over again. Matt and Rachael are no exception to this!
I think it would be incredibly obvious to anyone that spent more than a few minutes around them just how deep their love is. Their love is certainly something special.
At one point Matt spotted some wildflowers growing in the ditch and stopped to take the time to pick Rachael an adorable little bouquet. Honestly, this was the sweetest gesture and my favorite part of the whole the session! It’s the little things you know? The spontaneity of it. The fact that he simply wanted to see her smile.
The way they laugh and play together is not something you see very often in relationships. It’s apparent that they know exactly how to bring the best out in each other.
I always encourage couples to do something they enjoy doing together during an engagement session. It makes the session less stressful, it feels more genuine, you have more fun, and it’s easier to get to know each other. So I love it when a couple takes a session and turns it into something all about them. This is exactly what they did.
Rachael had already told me that she really loves natural in the moment images. She wanted real smiles, real laughter, and real love. Which also happen to be my ABSOLUTE favorite. So these two (pretty sure it was Matt’s idea) brought along fishing poles to use during their session. AND IT WAS PERFECT. This was probably my second favorite part of the day! It’s so easy to get fabulous photos when you are just having fun with your best friend!
