I’m a documenter and memory keeper. A wife, a mother, and a dream chaser extraordinaire. I'm the person that tells the stories you want to remember forever.
Allison and Jeremy are an incredibly fun and loving couple! It was an absolute honor to photograph their engagement session and I am so FREAKING excited for their wedding day to get here! I have this sneaking suspicion that it is going to be a BLAST.
Allison was one of the very first people I met when my family moved to South Dakota. Which means I’ve known her since the first grade! Isn’t that crazy? I’d be lying if I didn’t say these were my favorite kinds of weddings. Watching someone you’ve known for decades (it’s weird that I’m old enough to be able to say that) get to marry the love of their life is just so wonderful. Plus I almost always get to catch up with old friends (added bonus for the win)!
The day of their engagement session I think we were all a little bit nervous about the weather. If it would rain, would the sun actually come out, would we even get to see the sunset? However, everything turned out beyond amazing.
Allison and Jeremy picked out the PERFECT location of their engagement session. I’d be lying if I wasn’t still floored by the beauty of it. We drove about 15 miles outside of Aberdeen to the property of one of their friends. From there we drove through fields and went around a few bends until we arrived at the perfect spot.
They brought their dog Marley who was such a stinking ham and the sweetest pup ever! I still can’t get over his big cheesy grin. Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE when people bring their furbabies along to sessions? It makes everything extra special and more meaningful.
I could go on forever about how perfect and fun this session was but you can just check it out for yourself! Scroll through to see more from Allison and Jeremy’s session!
