I’ve got a backlog a mile long for sessions that need to be blogged. Hopefully, between the chaos of this year’s weddings, engagements, and sessions I can share a few of last years gem’s as well. This is one I’ve been excited to share for a while!
Ashley just so happens to be the best friend of my sister-in-law so I’ve known her for a number of years now. And I was extra excited when she asked me if I would be the photographer for her wedding day. I know her, her family, and have photographed them all before. It’s the relationships I develop documenting special moments over the course of years is easily my favorite part of being a photographer. So it makes moments like this extra special.
Her and Joe’s engagement session fell on one of the last nice days of 2017 before this never-ending winter hit. Okay, it hasn’t been that bad but it is April and there is still snow on the ground (and it’s basically been snowing all week) so I’m ready for some spring weather.
I love late fall engagement sessions! The final bits of the season are actually quite charming. I find that the biting cold can really bring out the best in a couple. Genuine moments, real snuggles, giggles, and love. These two experienced all of that and then some. Scroll through the images below to see some of my favorites from their fall session!
As a mom and a business owner, I understand the power of a moment, the story behind a smile. Photography for me is a bridge – connecting hearts, capturing the unspoken. It’s about creating an experience that’s as enjoyable as the final product. Your ideas, your story, your essence – I’m here to bring them to life through my lens.
